The vision behind the Khalifah and Rukkaiya Foundation for the Aged and Senior Citizens’ Welfare was born from a deeply personal journey. Khalifah and Rukkaiya, both raised by elderly royal parents in their respective villages, experienced firsthand the challenges that come with caring for aging loved ones. Watching their once-strong and dignified parents become increasingly dependent revealed a painful gap in society’s care for its senior citizens.

Motivated by compassion and duty, they realized that this struggle wasn’t unique to them—it was the silent reality of countless elderly people across the nation who had spent their lives contributing to community and nation-building, only to be met with neglect in their final years.

From this awakening came a shared mission: to advocate for the dignity, well-being, and healthcare of the elderly, especially those without means or support. While they believe the government has a crucial role to play, they also believe action cannot wait. Through their foundation, they are committed to giving senior citizens the care, respect, and comfort they deserve—and to inspiring others to do the same.
